Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races – 1st June 2026: One Vision

June is now, somehow, upon us, and with the first day of this new month also being a Monday it’s marked with a brand new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races featuring some rarely used cars.

The overall lineup remains the same as usual, with a one-make sprint race in the first slot followed by two racing categories in the other two events, but it’s not quite the regular set of events. For this week’s one-make we have something that’s technically a race car, while the Gr.4 category takes a break as the Gr.2s feature in the endurance event. Or at least some of them.

Though there’s only one race left in the current GT World Series Exhibition season, the Daily Races are still the only way you can raise your Driver Rating to get into a higher league for more points. Or, with one race left, tank it to grab more credits from that one entry… but please don’t.

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races June 1st: Race A

  • Track: Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise – 4 laps
  • Car: Mercedes-AMG Vision GT Race Mode – Garage/Specified Car
  • Power/Weight/PP Limit: BOP (H)
  • Tyres: Racing Hard
  • Settings: Specified
  • Start Type: Rolling Start
  • Required Pit Stops:
  • Fuel Rate Multiplier: 1x
  • Tyre Rate Multiplier: 1x

The racing variant of the very first Vision Gran Turismo car stars in this week’s Race A for one of the paciest events in this slot yet. That is, of course, the Mercedes-AMG Vision GT, which also serves to highlight what a self-inflicted mess PD has made of classifying cars under the Mercedes brand in GT7.

You can enter with your own car if you like or, if you haven’t yet spent 1m credits on something with marginal usefulness, just borrow one for the race. They’ll only come in standard liveries, but there are at least quite a lot of them and in distinctive hues. If you want to buy one to spruce up in your own style, you’ll find it under the non-existent AMG brand rather than the Mercedes-Benz one despite the car literally having “Mercedes-Benz” in the name. In reality it ought to be a Mercedes-AMG, of course.

It’s a four-lap race for the Vision GT Race Mode at Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise, and with Racing Hard tyres strapped onto your Mercedes it’s a pretty quick and grippy one. You also face the prospect of being a sitting duck for the final run to the finish line unless you can drag out a gap of 1.5s or more to the car behind you out of the final turn — or being a patient hunter should you be the one behind.

Recommended Car: Mercedes-AMG Vision GT Race Mode

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races June 1st: Race B

  • Track: Yas Marina Circuit – 4 laps
  • Car: Gr.3 – Garage/Specified Car
  • Power/Weight/PP Limit: BOP (M)
  • Tyres: Racing Hard
  • Settings: Partially Allowed – Brake Balance
  • Start Type: Rolling Start
  • Required Pit Stops:
  • Fuel Rate Multiplier: 1x
  • Tyre Rate Multiplier: 1x

The more ordinary event this week brings the Gr.3 cars to Yas Marina Circuit, one of the newest tracks in the game when it was introduced alongside Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in the Spec III update in December 2025.

There’s quite a few competitive options for this one, as the Gr.3 class is quite well-balanced in general terms, but much of the top 100 leaderboard is gravitating towards the same car and since it’s a sprint race then what’s good for qualifying laps is good for the race too.

Whatever you pick, you’ll need Racing Hard tyres equipped — again, boo; this is a sprint race, made for soft, qualifying-spec rubber — and given the slippery nature of this tyre relative to other options you may fall foul of the extremely strict “Championship” track limits in play in this week’s race.

Recommended Car: Porsche 911 (992) GT3 R ’22

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Race June 1st: Race C

  • Track: Fuji International Speedway – 12 laps
  • Car: Gr.2 Selection – Garage/Specified Car
  • Power/Weight/PP Limit: BOP (M)
  • Tyres: Racing Medium
  • Settings: Partially Allowed – Brake Balance
  • Start Type: Rolling Start
  • Required Pit Stops: 1
  • Fuel Rate Multiplier: 2x
  • Tyre Rate Multiplier: 6x

There’s a little bit of strategy in this week’s Race C which also features a highly unusual vehicle line-up. For starters it’s the Gr.2 class, but you may only pick from three specific vehicles in that class for the race.

Despite only having ten cars, this class is usually dominated by the 2016 Super GT cars, making open Gr.2 races a foregone conclusion. This race only allows you to select the three classic Le Mans vehicles: the BMW McLaren F1 GTR ’97, the Mercedes-AMG CLK LM ’98, and the Toyota TS020 GT-One ’99. Yes, for licensing reasons, the McLaren is a BMW — it was campaigned as a BMW factory effort — but since all three cars are only available in the Legends Cars dealer (and only the “BMW” is right now) it’s a moot point.

All three are pretty competitive on pure pace alone, but you have a 6x tyre wear multiplier and a mandatory pit stop to contend with too. It’s a 12-lap race at the full Fuji International Speedway circuit, and with the additional tyre wear it’s quite punishing on front-lefts in particular. We reckon it’s possible to do well on just a single set, but you do have to come into the pits for that mandatory stop so it’s up to you whether you change to a fresh set to offset the late-race pace drop-off or not.

Take great care on entering the pits, as there’s a kink on the entry and brushing the solid white line on the left (or smacking the barrier on the right) will draw a three-second, on-track penalty. Failing to make the stop at all earns you a one-minute penalty added to your time after the race.

Recommended Car: Toyota TS020 GT-One ’99

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races are the main ranked, scheduled multiplayer events in Gran Turismo 7, updating every Monday and running every 20-30 minutes across the week. Each race result contributes to your Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR), depending on your final race position and any incidents during the race respectively. These ratings update at the end of each race, with DR used to set your league for the qualifying events for the GT World Series esports competition and exhibition events.

In order to access Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, you’ll need to unlock the game’s Sport Mode. This requires you to complete the GT Cafe single player hub’s Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”). You’ll also need a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to take part.
