The very first season change in Forza Horizon 6 is here, bringing a first look at the new world map in the autumn season as well as the latest set of events and exclusive rewards.
There’s little by way of surprise here, as much of the detail is revealed for all four weeks of any given Series when it first pops up. That means we’ve largely known what to expect since last Thursday’s first-ever Playlist, including all of the rewards and events.
Once again we’re looking at a very similar layout to FH5’s Playlist, but in a new skin. The exception right now is The Trial, but that’s set to come back from Series 2 in mid-June once a larger proportion of the playerbase has reached the pre-requisite for the event: Legend Island.
All four seasons in Series 1 have 45 points on offer, with the various rewards coming at 33% and 66% completion. That’s 15pt and 30pt within each season and 60pt and 120pt overall. There’s an additional new feature in that you’ll accumulate points across all Series too for additional rewards, but it’s going to be well into Series 3 before players pick up the first such prize: a Mazda Cosmo 110S, at 500pt.
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Overall Rewards

If you’ve been reasonably diligent in your Playlist activities, you’ll be able to score the none-of-one Mazda Furai this week by passing 60pt this Series. Although the real one was immolated, it’s been recreated here (and in Forza Motorsport 2023) and is the cover star of Series 1. You’ll also be able to drive it across all four weeks in the Monthly Rivals and as part of the new Test Drive feature at the main Festival Site.
The 120pt reward will have to wait for another week though, with the arguably far less exciting 2010 Nissan 370Z as the higher-point prize. It’s odd that this relatively mainstream sports car is a Playlist-exclusive and not available any other way though. And not called “Fairlady Z” given where we are.
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Rewards

Some classic 1990s’ Japanese domestics are on offer this week, with the fearsome Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R V-Spec ’97 available at 15 points, and the sporty little Honda CX-X SiR ’91 coming at 30 points.
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Seasonal Challenges
All four seasons in S1 feature four events in the Seasonal Challenges section. Regular players will note that the Weekly Challenge, Daily Challenges, and Photo Challenge are standard stuff, but we also have one additional event each season.
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Weekly Challenge
You’ll need to complete four stages in the Weekly Challenge, in a specific order, and this week the star car is one of your three starter cars: the Nissan Silvia K’s ’89. Complete all four of the relatively simple challenges to score five points and land 25,000cr.
- Challenge 1: Own and Drive the Nissan Silvia S13 K’s ’89
- Challenge 2: Earn three stars at Drift Zones in the Silvia
- Challenge 3: Win a Road Race in the Silvia
- Challenge 4: Complete two runs at the Festival Kilometre Drag Meet in the Silvia
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Daily Challenges
Daily challenges unlock at 1430 UTC every day, and you’re allowed seven days to complete each one — even when that runs into a new season or even a new Series. You’ll need access to online multiplayer to complete the first of these events this week. Checking off each event earns you one point and 5,000cr apiece.
- May 28th: Big in Japan – Win a Cross-Country Race in a Sports Utility Hero
- May 29th: Pre-Loved – Purchase an Aftermarket Car
- May 30th: In the Zone – Earn a total of 300mph across Speed Zones
- May 31st: Hang Time – Earn three stars at Danger Signs

- June 2nd: Drop the Beat – Earn an Awesome Air Skill in the Honda Beat ’91
- June 3rd: Tokyo Drift – Earn three Awesome Drift/E-Drift Skills at Shibuya Crossing

Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Photo Challenge
Photo Challenges require you to take a specific photo, sometimes of a car, sometimes of a location, and sometimes both. This week’s event is simply a case of finding the Tokyo Tower (just north of the park in the south-west of the city) and taking a photo at the base. You’ll score two points and earn a Forza LINK greeting as a reward.
- Photo Challenge: Take a photo at the base of the Tokyo Tower
- Reward: “Oooh… shiny!” Forza LINK, 2pt
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt challenges send you hunting for a treasure chest somewhere on the map with only a picture of the location to go on, although without the “clue” area marked on your map. Smash the chest, which you’ll find on the golf course in Minamino, to earn the reward of three points and 100,000cr.
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Seasonal Events

Racing and stunting forms the bulk of the Playlist now, with 22pt available this week. You’ll face specific vehicle restrictions most of the time, and along with the (usually) three-race Seasonal Championships and the PR Stunts we now have Time Attack as a Seasonal Event type.

Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn: Touge Showdown
- Target: Earn three Great Speed Skills in Horizon Racing
- Reward: Lamborghini Huracan Evo, 3pt
Forza Horizon 6 Series 1: Monthly Rivals
This game mode sees you set as fast a time as you can at a given course with a car provided for the task, without any contact or use of Rewind. Unlike the other challenges, this one is available across all four seasons, although you can take part in it whenever you want. It offers one point to each of the four seasons, for four in total. You’ll also receive a Super Wheelspin.
- Target: Complete a clean lap of Sobi Circuit in the Mazda Furai
- Reward: Super Wheelspin, 4pt (1pt per season)
The Autumn season of Series 1 runs through to 1430 UTC on Thursday June 4th, while Series 1 as a whole runs to the same time on Thursday June 18th. Series 2 — Horizon Decades — will come along to replace it with new events and new rewards including playlist-exclusive cars.
